This DVD commemorates the life of the Maori Queen, Te Arikinui Dame Te Atairangikaahu.

Tiaho Po includes excerpts from a concert held in May 2006 at Turangawaewae Marae, Ngaruawahia to celebrate 40 years of Te Atairangikaahu's leadership of the Maori King Movement (Kingitanga), and historical information relating to Te Atairangikaahu and the Kingitanga.

On 21 August 2006, three months later, thousands of mourners made their way back to Turangawaewae Marae to farewell their beloved leader.

Te Arikinui Dame Te Atairangikaahu: 1931-2006 is an edited version of the Maori Queen's tangi (funeral) that was broadcast live to the nation by Television New Zealand.
