The film follows the recently released american convict Zed, who arrives in Paris to do a "job" for a friend. His speciality is cracking safes and Eric the mastermind, has selected a particularly difficult one for him at a large bank. But before getting to mapping out the details, Zed takes some long overdue R&R with a Parisian professional named Zoe. Following a night of debauchery and abandon the bank job is a botch up from the word go. Most of the seven member team are at less than peak performances following their long night, and the idea of a clean operation is quickly erased when someone of killed, an operation clearly doomed to failure.
