Underneath us all lies Drainland, a weird and fabulous world inhabited by strange and sometimes dangerous creatures. Drainland exists because of the water that flows down our pipes, but few people know it exists. Stanley Staines and his sister Mary-Jane discover Drainland by accident, and what they find leads them into a series of amazing adventures. In our world they are just ordinary kids, battling the bullies at school and trying to help their mum Betty make ends meet. But down below they are the only people on Earth who can save Drainland from the evil Dr Drain!
