The 2007 48 Hours Film Competition was held over one frantic weekend in 2007. More than 400 teams from around New Zealand competed to make 2007 the most successful compeition yet.

Each team drew a genre from a hat, and all teams were given a line of dialogue, a character and a prop to include in their films and were sent away to fo the whole thing in 48 hours.

This is a collection of the finalists from each region. The winners from each area competed head-to-head with wildcard entries picked by Peter Jackson in a live TV final to decide the ultimate grand national winner of 48 HOURS!
